“The companionship that was given at Percy's Place made Uncle feel he mattered and that he could maintain his dignity in his last days.”

My husband & I were appointed as primary caregiver and power of attorney for our elderly bachelor uncle.  He was diagnosed with a terminal illness and was admitted to the hospital in late September '23, we knew he would not be able to return home as we could not provide the round the clock care he required.  In late October we were advised that he was going to be placed at Percy's Place.  Transferred from the busy  & hectic hospital to the serene & caring hospice.

Simply put this was a true blessing!  For Uncle and for us!

Uncle was given optimum round the clock care and we were secure in that knowledge. We felt a tremendous amount of stress dealing with the end of life responsibilities but one thing we did not worry about was Uncle's comfort care.  We both work full time and were only able to visit weekday evenings and weekends and we felt such relief knowing he was given exceptional care while there and that he was so content and happy being in that environment.

To describe Percy's Place I choose the words "light" and "welcoming"  I was welcomed from the first visit that I had when I signed the consent forms and the welcoming vibes only increased as we established a relationship with his caretakers.  Light is the best way to describe the environment & building.  The building is quite gorgeous and offers much value for privacy with it's spacious rooms for both patient and family. It's airy, spacious, bright, peaceful and calming...all things one would want to help a loved one in their last days.  The light that came from the employees was bright, showing in their compassion and emphatic manners.

We only have words of praise for this establishment and we truly feel blessed to have Dr. Losier and his chosen staff to help our fine community members.  Be it the patients, or family members knowing we have such an establishment, is a fact we must be so grateful for!
